Prince’s death investigation gets more intense as cops search the Walgreens where he got his medicine GETTY

Police in Minnesota delivered a search warrant on a local Walgreens where the late musician Prince was known to fill his prescriptions.

In the days since Prince passed away, sources have told various news outlets that the famed singer was battling a Percocet addiction and pills were found in his home when he died.

According to TMZ, investigators searched the Walgreens in an attempt to find some paper trail about where Prince was getting his medication.

The gossip outlet previously reported that Prince survived a drug overdose just six days before he died.

CNN also reported on Friday that over the last several years, four 911 calls were made from Prince’s home for medical emergencies.
