Tom Hardy is known as the pinnacle of masculine perfection, but his recent response to a reporter shows he has a good head on his shoulders too.
At a TIFF press conference for his new movie “Legend,” one reporter asked him a question about sexuality in Hollywood.
“In the film, your character Ronnie is very open about his sexuality,” Graeme Coleman, a reporter from the LGBT site Daily Xtra, said. “But given interviews you’ve done in the past, your own sexuality seems a bit more ambiguous. Do you find it hard for celebrities to talk to media about their sexuality?”
“What on earth are you on about?” Hardy retorts. “What is your question”
“I was wondering if you find it difficult for celebrities to talk about their sexuality.”
“I don’t find it difficult for celebrities to talk about their sexuality,” said Hardy. “Um, are you asking me about my sexuality?”
“Um…sure,” the reporter said.
“Why?” Hardy responded, leaving the cases opened and immediately shut closed. “Thank you,” he said, adding a touching niceness.
