Weeks before his surprising death at age 69, actor Alan Rickman leant his voice to a viral campaign meant to raise awareness for two very important causes.
The short video finds Rickman narrating a clip of a tortoise eating a strawberry, explaining that for every view the video got, money would be donated to Save the Children and Refugee Council, two worthy organizations he supports.
Though his illness was kept private at the time, in retrospect, Rickman’s signature voice sounds slightly weary and perhaps a little tired in the clip, which has since gone viral again after his death.
