This epic match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret Hart at Wrestlemania XIII ushered in a new era of wrestling

Leading up to Wrestlemania 32 on Sunday, April 3rd, we’ll be looking at some of the best Wrestlemania moments. And what could be a better match to start with than the No Disqualification Submission match between Stone Cold Steve Austin and Bret Hart at Wrestlemania XIII.

Not only did the match lay the groundwork for what would later be known as the Attitude Era, but it also led to what’s been said to be one of the biggest double-turns in wrestling history, with Hart turning heel and Austin becoming the new face of the company.

This nearly 25 minutes of brutal wrestling action both in and out of the ring culminated in a controversial finish for the ages.
