At the 2013 UTOPiAfest in Utopia, Texas, pop group Lucius helped two big fans come away with a very special moment.
Before performing their cover of “Monsters” by My Morning Jacket, the girls in Lucius explained that two years prior, fans Ryan and Amanda had met at the festival and bonded over their love of Lucius.
After dedicating their performance to the couple, the band invited Ryan and Amanda on stage and let Ryan take the microphone.
Ryan, quickly explained that not only was he seeing his favorite group with his girlfriend, but that the day was also his birthday, and he only wanted one present.
“The only thing I want this year, is for this beautiful woman right here, to spend the rest of my life with me,” Ryan said before dropping down to one knee and asking Amanda to be his bride.
With the crowd cheering in the background, she said ‘yes!’
