On her 2006 album, “I’m Not Dead,” pop singer Pink included a hidden track written by her father, a former insurance salesman and Vietnam veteran.

Jim Moore wrote the song called “I Have Seen the Rain” while he was serving in Vietnam, and often sang it to his little girl throughout her life.

The father and daughter performed the song on the album, and when it came time to film a live concert special for the record, Pink invited her dad on stage to sing.

“My dad was my first rock star,” Pink explained to her fans.

“I’m a little fucked up because of him.”

According to Pink, Mr.Moore had never performed in front of a large group, though it would have been tough to guess that based on Mr. Moore’s skills.

“He wrote a song about forty years ago in Vietnam…and tonight…the first time my dad’s ever performed in front of a group is going to be right now,” Pink said.

“Can we get my favorite person in the whole world out tonight…my daddy, my Jim Moore.”
