PSA: Stealing is wrong, especially if it’s from Whataburger

Right up there with the yellow rose, bluebonnet and mockingbird, the Whataburger number tent is a Texas treasure and icon that is not to be messed with.

Of course, it’s also a necessary right of passage to swipe them after your meal.

That’s why North Texas police are doing their part today by reminding us that stealing the markers is still a crime.

Whataburgers are already some of the most heavily policed places around town, but it’s usually not our fault that those beautiful tents get stolen: no one goes there sober.
