Looking back at her almost unparalleled career in pop history, Streisand will revisit one of her early performances, from 60 years ago. In fact, the 1962 concert took place when she was 20 years old and before she released her debut, The Barbra Streisand Album, the following year.

The live record, Barbra Streisand – Live at the Bon Soir, drops November 4, according to a press release that Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings issued Friday. In fact, Columbia originally intended the live album to be Babs’ first for the label.

It features 24 performances, all newly mixed from the original master tapes, from Streisand’s shows at Greenwich Village nightclubs. Those looking for a taste of the compendium can check out the singer’s live rendition of “Cry Me a River” through various streaming sites.

Bon Soir has a special place in the singer’s heart, according to The Films of Barbra Streisand, a book released in 2000. Babs’ first professional engagement happened there starting in September 1960 (and she was paid a measly $125 per week).

“I’d never been in a nightclub until I sang in one,” the book quotes her as saying.

Barbra Streisand by the Numbers

Barbra Streisand has sold 150 million albums during her fruitful career, making her the ninth highest-selling female musical artist of all time. She has a jaw-dropping 59 studio albums to her name.

She topped the U.S. Billboard 200 chart 11 times, more than any other female artist. To that end, Billboard ranked her as the best female artist to ever grace that chart.

Most impressive of all, Barbra Streisand is the only musical artist — including groups — to land a #1 album in six consecutive decades, according to Columbia.

Her honors include two Oscars, 10 Grammys, five Emmys, four Peabodys, one Tony and nine Golden Globes — making her an EGOT. She earned the Presidential Medal of Freedom as well.

Barbra Streisand turned 80 in April.
