‘Big Brother’ (Finally) Announced Its Premiere Date For Season 24

Big Brother fans, here’s the news you’ve been waiting for. Circle the date on your calendar – Wednesday, July 6.

That’s when Big Brother returns to CBS for its 24th season, and the new season will kick off with a 90-minute episode at 8/7c. Streaming will also be available live and on demand on the CBS app and Paramount+.

After the premiere, Big Brother will air Thursdays at 9/8c (featuring the live evictions), and Sundays and Wednesdays at 8/7c. The Live Feeds will continue to be available on Paramount+.

Julie Chen Moonves returns as the host of the show.

Immediately following Big Brother on July 6, CBS will debut the newest series in the franchise, The Challenge. The season premiere starts at 9;30/8:30c.

This special edition on CBS, The Challenge: USA, brings together fan favorites from the network’s reality shows, including Survivor, Big Brother, The Amazing Race, and Love Island to compete for a $500,000 prize. Plus, the winner will earn a spot on The Challenge: World Championship (working title), which will stream on Paramount+.

The global tournament was announced in February and will feature winners from The Challenge: USA facing off with winners The Challenge: Argentina, The Challenge: Australia, and The Challenge: U.K. for the first-ever title as the “Challenge” World Champion.

T.J. Lavin will host The Challenge. After the premiere, The it will air Wednesdays at 9/8c.
