Biden went on to lead fans in the special edition of “Fly Eagles Fly,” and was on the field for the coin toss. She was seen talking to Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the first lady was at the game to promote the White House‘s cancer moonshot initiative. She was also joined on the field by several cancer patients and survivors, along with their families.

“It’s a special night for this Philly girl — I get to cheer on my @Eagles alongside these brave cancer survivors and their families,” she tweeted. “Thank you @NFLfor raising awareness through Crucial Catch. We all have a role to play in ending cancer as we know it. #CancerMoonshot.”

Both President Joe Biden and the first lady are said to be huge Eagles fans. During the Super Bowl LII, the current president was in the US Bank Stadium located in Minneapolis where Philadelphia won a game against the New England Patriots. Back in May 2021, the president praised Eagles fans. “Philadelphia fans are the most informed and most obnoxious fans in the world,” he stated.
