The Israeli cabinet recently voted on and passed a law decriminalizing the recreational use of cannabis. Politicians are praising this decision worldwide. Under the new policy, first time offenders caught using the drug in public will be fined $250, but will not face criminal charges. The money will be used for rehabilitation and education programs.
