“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” actor offers solid advice in college commencement address

You know him from the FX comedy “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” (if you don’t, then you and your Netflix account should probably have a heart-to-heart). Actor Charlie Day recently gave the 64th undergraduate commencement address at Merrimack College in Massachusetts.

The ’98 graduate packed his speech with joke after joke, but shed his over-the-top goofy “Charlie” character to offer important career advice such as “having a plan B can muddy up your plan A” or “don’t wait for your break, make your break.”

It’s an interesting departure for a man who makes a living huffing paint and putting mittens on kittens, but it’s well worth a watch.
