Kevin Bacon is coming to our screen on Super Bowl Sunday after he decided on a partner with none other than Budweiser.  On Tuesday, the company debuted “Six Degrees of Budweiser,” for its Regional Super Bowl commercial which is narrated by the actor himself. The ad basically shows how people are at most six social connections away from one another.

The Footloose actor was a perfect choice for the spot because of Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon, which was a game invented back in 1994 by three Albright College students. The game challenges people to connect actors to Bacon and six film connections or less.

“It wasn’t until I actually saw the spot that I said to myself, ‘Oh, that’s right. A six-pack is six degrees of connection,” Bacon told PEOPLE. “I didn’t even think to myself, ‘Oh, of course, they’re coming to me.’ I just thought they wanted me because of my voice.”

“This Bud’s For You”

“I’ve always felt that the actual idea, which, by the way, existed many years before I was attached to it … is a beautiful concept,” he stated. “If you take me out of the game, we are all connected.”

The ad picked six real-life individuals who are passing a six-pack of beer through different scenes to get to one another. From a construction worker to a food truck owner, to a music producer, Bacon reveals that “everybody who’s in this ad are real people who have had their own personal struggles to overcome.”

At the end of the commercial, one of the actors then grabs the final beer bottle and offers it to the viewer as Bacon states, “This bud’s for you.”

According to a press release from Budweiser, they’re introducing the phrase as its tailgate. “I’m sure there’s Super Bowl ads where you go, ‘Yeah, but what were they trying [to sell]?’ I don’t think this is one of them,” Bacon stated.

The ad is set to air regionally during the game which takes place on February 12th at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale Arizona.
