“Australia’s golden couple” dropped by a children’s hospital in Nashville last week to chat with the kids there, Today reports. Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban own a home in the capital city.
They reportedly participated in an interview Wednesday, and Urban performed music, at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital.
Wednesday’s session took place at Seacrest Studios, a nonprofit owned by Ryan Seacrest, at Vanderbilt University. Urban’s song “Wild Hearts” played in the background during the session, Yahoo! News reports.

“We were so fortunate to have @keithurban and @nicolekidman visit us yesterday in Seacrest Studios,” the hospital’s Instagram account read. “Thank you both for all the special moments with our patients and for brightening the day for all of us!”
Seacrest established his Seacrest Studios nonprofit in 2015 to facilitate children interacting with radio, TV, and social media. It includes 11 facilities, also in Atlanta, Boston, Denver, and other cities.
Its website says: “Seacrest Studios makes every patient … feel like a star.”

Kidman and Keith Urban met in Los Angeles in 2005 at the G’Day USA gala, an event bringing together leaders from the U.S. and Australia. They married in Sydney, Australia, the following year.
In attendance were Russell Crowe, Moulin Rouge director Baz Luhrmann, and Kidman’s best friend Naomi Watts. Hugh Jackman and Crowded House vocalist Neil Finn performed, as well as Keith himself.
In a Today interview from 2013, Seacrest explained how talking with the parents of hospital patients inspired him to create the nonprofit.
“I started to think about what we could do to create a distraction and also something where they could learn and be active,” Seacrest said. “And my parents and I sat down with my sister and had dinner one night, and I said, ‘Well, why don’t we do what I know how to do, which is build these radio studios and have something they can come in and use themselves.’ And so we’ve seen it create energy. It creates a spirit inside the hospitals that is really special.”
