The United States Supreme Court has decided not to intervene in a case which would have prevented the Federal Government from forgiving over $6 Billion in student loans.

The case has no relation to the broad Biden Student Loan Forgiveness proposed late last year. The program has been on halt, awaiting approval or denial from the Supreme Court.
This case pertains to a particular group of for-profit colleges that reportedly did not provide the services they charged for, misleading students.

A settlement that will allow thousands of student loan debts to be canceled will go into effect after the Supreme Court on Thursday declined to block it.
The Supreme Court in a brief order rejected a request made by colleges challenging the settlement.
The class-action settlement concerns loans that borrowers claim should be canceled because they were taken out based on misrepresentation made by their schools, many of which are for-profit. The settlement could be worth more than $6 billion.
The case arises from a settlement that California-based U.S. District Judge William Alsup approved in November in a case brought by borrowers. The government has already started implementing the settlement.
The application at the Supreme Court was filed by Everglades College, Lincoln Educational Services Corp. and American National University. Lincoln and American National are for-profit enterprises, while Everglades is not-for-profit. All three operate colleges the federal government placed on a list of more than 150 institutions that it said are linked with claims of “substantial misconduct.”

With the United States already teetering on the edge of destruction, ‘loan forgiveness’ is just another Democrat gun pointed directly at the head of our National future.
Money is not magic. It doesn’t just appear without consequence. Any ‘forgiveness’ comes directly from the taxpayer, or the printer, both which spell disaster for our future.
Sky-high taxes, valueless money, and no economy to speak of. Thanks, Democrats! Morons who took out hundreds of thousands of dollars now get to be bailed out by hard working Americans who didn’t have the luxury of attending a college.
The Republican voter base is treated as nothing more than a lower class for the Democratic voter base. Hard-working Americans are ostracized, demonized, and made out to be the cause for our problems.
Just another handout for the Democrats, and their voters!
