The newest version is called That ’90s Show and it will soon be making its way to Netflix. Both Kutcher and his wife Mila Kunis, who co-starred on That ’70s Show, are making guest appearances.

“It was really nostalgic to be back on the set,” Kutcher told Variety. “It’s all the same folks that made ‘That ’70s Show,’ so it was pretty bizarre.”

Granted, That ’90s Show won’t feature Kutcher, but his character will live on. So he and Kunis only felt it was right to lend a hand.

“Mila and I were contemplating it,” Kutcher said. “We thought, ‘Listen, we’re only in the position that we’re in because of that show, so let’s just go back and do this.’ We just went back and had fun for a week. It was so random and fun.”

Kutcher, 44, played Michael Kelso on That ’70s Show, from 1998-2006. A scheduling conflict with his role in the movie The Guardian actually forced him to leave That ’70s Show for its eighth and final season.

That ’70s Show Cast Returns

Now, he is set to play a supporting role as a music producer in Vengeance, a new film from B.J. Novak of The Office fame. Novak wrote, directed, and stars in the movie as an aspiring podcaster who is investigating the death of a woman he once had been in a relationship with.

As for Kutcher and That ’90s Show, well, there clearly will be no shortage of interest — given how well That ’70s Show fared in its heyday.

“It’s really funny,” he told Variety. “The new cast is phenomenal.”
