Mark Braddock, an associate of Chrisley, took the the stand in the bank and tax fraud case and was asked to describe their relationship. He gave background of meeting at a PTA meeting and then becoming friends when they lived in the same neighborhood.

After seemingly admitting to the fraud charges, Braddock then chose a very specific word to describe their relationship: Intimate.

“I was complicit in giving him what he needed,” Braddock said.

“We had a personal relationship of an intimate nature,” he added “I would do whatever he needed to get done.”

Braddock said that the intimacy of their relationship lasted about a year when it shifted to becoming more business-like, adding that it evolved into more of a brotherhood.

Despite being a father of five, Chrisley has long been the recipient of rumors surrounding his sexuality. He has addressed it multiple times, most famously saying in 2014, “There’s no coming out. What you see is what you get. I am what I am. Other people’s opinions of me are just not my business.”

The fraud charges stem from long before the family became famous with their show, and the government had previously granted Braddock immunity in exchange for his cooperation.

Cooperation was certainly granted as Braddock spilled plenty of information, stating that as an employee of Chrisley’s Executive Asset Management he had knowledge of the following:

  • Chrisley had spent more than $3.5 million from the sale of his first company in a year. He said that Chrisley went on a spree, buying Bentleys, other luxury cars, clothes, and other luxury items.
  • Chrisley also spent almost the entirety of the money when the second half of the $8 million payment came through.
  • Braddock said that he used Microsoft Word to create fake documents to inflate the Chrisleys’ income and valuations in order to acquire loans.
  • Braddock said that he also created fake documents for his own financial benefit.

Braddock was terminated by the Chrisley’s and immediately went to the FBI to inform them of the financial crimes that were committed.

The extent of Braddock’s immunity agreement did not contain language that prohibits other federal attorneys’ offices from prosecuting him on separate charges stemming from his testimony.

Braddock was also informed that if he were to be found out that he told a lie to the jury he would be charged with perjury.

The extent of the ‘intimacy’ was not pressed further.

  1. As a gay man, senior citizen, I have learned a few things that tell me whether a man is gay or is not. Todd Chrisley has the majority of CRITERIA necessary to be included in the Friends of Dorothy category. I watched his show once and there wasn’t one second that I didn’t think, this guy is a poof!! Let me just say to him, we can try to hide it; but there are clues and behavior that is totally gay. And I don’t believe Todd Chrisley for one minute. He has all of the gay signs and ALL of the signs SCREAM “GAY”!!!!

  2. My first impression of him was exactly what I thought! He’s hiding behind that family and Marriage… He act very GAY! HE LOOKS VERY GAY!
