Blood & Money explores the death of Sheila Bellush, known as “Quad Mom,” who was discovered by another daughter, 13. The tragedy took place in Sarasota, Fla.

Bellush was 35-years-old and the mother of six. The doc shows what went behind the evil murder-for-hire plot and was created by Dick Wolf of Law & Order fame.

“My mom is dead,” the 13-year-old cried to the dispatcher, per the St. Petersburg Times. “There’s blood all over the phone, and there’s a cut on her neck.”

Authorities pinned the murder on Jose Luis Del Toro — but the story doesn’t end there. During the investigation, it was revealed that Bellush’s ex-husband and the father of her two oldest children, millionaire Allen Blackthorne, was behind the killing.

At the time, it seems, Blackthorne was upset with Bellush over a custody hearing involving the two older children.

Del Toro eventually pleaded guilty to murder and burglary and was handed two life sentences.

Blackthorne was found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire and interstate domestic violence. He died in prison in November 2014 at the age of 59.
