2 Gina Rodriguez Secretly Welcomes First Baby With Joe LoCicero

Congratulations are in order for Gina Rodriguez and Joe LoCicero! According to a representative, the actress welcomed a baby boy over the weekend. The new parents first met on the set of Rodrigez’s hit series, Jane The Virgin, six years ago when LoCicero portrayed a stripper during an episode in season two. They quickly made their red carpet debut in November of 2016 at Marie Claire’s first annual Young Women’s Honors Gala. 

Two years later, LoCicero popped the question, with Rodriguez revealing it to E! News, saying, “I’m stuck with that man for life, he made that so,” The details of the said proposal are still yet to be disclosed. 

3. Julianne Hough Set to Replace Tyra Banks As ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Host

It’s official, Julianne Houghs is joining Dancing With The Stars, but this time as a host! The show announced that she would be replacing Tyra Banks after the model decided to exit the show. Banks unconventionally announced her departure to TMZ while she was casually running errands last week. The supermodel has been a host for the last three seasons, joined by co-host Alfonso Ribeiro when it moved to Disney + for its 31st season.

4. Gwyneth Paltrow Heads to Trial 7 Years After Utah Ski Slopes Crash

Gwyneth Paltrow can’t seem to get a break. The actress is said to be standing trial for an incident that occurred at a Utah ski resort that prompted a skier’s lawsuit. The trials are happening in the Third District Court in Park City and are expected to last over a week. The $3.9 million hit-and-run lawsuit was officially filed in 2019 by a Utah man who claims he sustained a brain injury as well as several broken bones after the model crashed into him on the Deer Valley Resort slopes back in 2016.

5. ‘Ted Lasso’ Cast Meet President Joe Biden at White House to Talk About Mental Health

The cast of the Emmy-winning award show Ted Lasso met up with President Joe Biden and first lady Dr. Jill Biden in order to promote Mental Health awareness. “It is truly an honor to have Coach Lasso here with us today,” White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre stated at the White House press briefing, referring to actor Jason Sudeikis. “There’s a real message around mental health. And (Sudeikis anrd his Ted Lasso castmates) are meeting with the president and the first lady … on this important topic.”
