In a reckless display, Croatian fans threw fireworks and flares onto the field of the Euro 2016 match between Croatia and the Czech Republic on Friday.
The dangerous fanfare almost took a tragic turn when one firework exploded directly in front of a worker trying to clear the field.
The Croatian team’s fans have taken their anger out violently in the past due to decisions made by the Croatian Football Association.
After racist chants were heard at games in 2015, the league was forced to ban its own fans from attending a game against Italy last year.
The Czech Republic would go on to tie the match 2-2 in stoppage time.
