This superhero-inspired flamethrower grants laser shooting powers without the mutation YouTube

Cosplay has always been a staple in the comic community, but this YouTuber took dressing like your favorite caped-character way beyond simple plastic swords and expensive costume replications.

Inspired by X-Men’s leader, Cyclops, this inventor aimed to reproduce the ruby red laser beams that shoot out of  the mutant’s eyes.

The crude machine looks pretty medieval. The visor is outfitted with a fuel pack, pump and two pilot lights and nozzles that direct the fire.

A small button on the side allows the fuel to enter the pump shooting the wild fire into the air.

The young man flexes his superpower abilities through a series of demonstrations that include setting balloons ablaze from several feet away.

If the X-Men need any crafty recruits, they may have found their guy.
