This was one hell of a ride!

Over the weekend, actress Busy Phillips took to Instagram to share details of a scary Uber incident that made her believe she was going to be killed. In a series of Instagram stories, Phillips recounted the night’s events with husband Marc Silverstein.

Following the incident, Phillips shared an image of herself before the Uber came.

“Seconds before I was almost murdered by a random dude in an Uber…” she wrote adding fans could catch the details in her story.

According to E! News, the couple called for a single Uber, not a shared ride, after leaving a Los Angeles restaurant. Seconds after getting into an SUV, Phillips said she immediately felt uncomfortable.

“I say [to Marc], ‘What’s going on, are we about to get murdered?’ Philipps said. “A man that we didn’t know existed in the back seat pops up…and he was like, ‘I promise that’s not going to happen.’ It was very creepy the way he chose to say it, even though he wasn’t going to murder us, he made it seem like he might.”

She continued, “I started screaming, ‘I’m not going to be killed today! I will not fucking be killed today!’…’No! You cannot kill us! Fuck no!'”

The two immediately jumped out of the car and contacted Uber to file a complaint. A source close to the company claims they are looking into the incident and the other person’s presence in the vehicle at the time of the pickup was in violation of the company’s terms.

“People think that I should’ve called the police maybe, but I feel like…we’re in L.A., guys. It would have taken them easily an hour to get there,” Philipps said. “Also, what are my charges? ‘There was a creepy guy?’ I don’t think that’s illegal.”

Though, she added she won’t be taking Uber ever again after this.

“I’m done with Uber. Never again. Never again!” she said. “That was legitimately the scariest, weirdest, worst thing that’s ever happened in a car situation for me.”
