On Tuesday night, the world was shocked with the news that Alan Thicke, best known for his role as Jason Seaver on the ’80s sitcom “Growing Pains,” passed away unexpectedly at the age of 69.

Thicke, who suffered a heart attack while playing hockey with his 19-year-old son Carter, was a beloved figure in the entertainment community, as made evident by the outpouring of grief from friends and fellow celebrities.

Thicke had most recently starred in “Fuller House,” a 2016 sequel to the TV show Full House, alongside Candace Cameron Bure, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier.
