But clearly, it was a scary situation for the crossover artist.

Per PEOPLE, Grant was bicycling with a friend and suffered cuts and abrasions after falling to the pavement. She was taken to Vanderbilt Hospital, where she stayed overnight for precautionary reasons. Grant, 61, was reportedly wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.

She is said to be in stable condition.

“The incident comes two years after the star, who is married to singer Vince Gill, underwent open-heart surgery to correct a rare condition with which she was born, but only discovered at a check-up,” PEOPLE relayed.

Grant’s exact condition is something called partial anomalous pulmonary venous return. She confirmed in June 2020 that she underwent surgery to have the condition corrected.

“I think women tend to put their health on the back burner,” she told Good Morning America last year. “It’s more like, ‘Oh my children, my grandchildren, my work, my spouse;’ All of those things and we need the gift of each other. So even if you go, ‘Oh, I got nothing on the radar,’ just get somebody else to check it out.”

As for the latest scare, it appears that Grant will be fine.
It may be a little bit before she gets back on a bike.
