At Christmas the mother of these rare triplets looks back on a year of love KWTX

In April 2015, Lesheca Lynch gave birth to a rare set of triplets and made national headlines in the process.

Two of Lynch’s children shared one one connected amniotic sac while in the womb, and had a very low chance of survival.

“We’ve been doing a lot of therapy, doctors’ appointments and living life with the triplets and the big girls,” the mother Lesheca Lynch told KWTX.

“Every two days, we go through 40 diapers or more, so we run through diapers a lot and it’s a big expensive bill.”

Because of the Lynch’s massive medical bills, they weren’t expecting to have much of a Christmas.

“I sat my kids down and explained to them that we were not going to be able to have Christmas, just because we’re going through a little struggle,” Lynch said.

Once Altrusa, a non-profit heard of the Lynch’s plight, they stepped in with donations to make sure the family had a good Christmas.

Now that Altrusa has stepped in, the Lynch family will have something wonderful to look forward to on Christmas.
