Boy receives special “treat” when neighbors learn a surgery will keep him from trick-or-treating Facebook screenshot

Branden Witt seems to be a 4-year-old like any other, waiting eagerly to trick-or-treat on Halloween. But unfortunately because of a type one Chiari Malformation Decompression surgery, he won’t be well enough to do that.

Enter Branden’s parents, Carol and Bobby. They wanted to do all they could so their little boy could partake in the fun. So, they made flyers asking neighbors if the boy could trick-or-treat a little early this year.

The community quickly obliged — and 41 neighbors gave the little boy a Halloween he will never forget.
