You probably know Donna D’Errico from Baywatch. But now you may know her as a 54-year old who is more than willing to do a bikini photo shoot — something she posted to Instagram, and with no regrets.
As D’Errico relayed, it helps that the temperature in Los Angeles reached 102 degrees, inspiring the fashion show.
“Have a merry Wednesday and keep cool and praying for those affected by the hurricane,” she wrote.
D’Errico received some backlash for a similar shoot in July, when she donned a bicentennial bikini for the Fourth. But clearly, she doesn’t care — because she posted another bikini shot, seemingly almost out of spite.
“Quite a few women complained about the 4th of July video I posted in a red white & blue bikini because they thought I was ‘classier than that’ and ‘too old to wear a bikini’ and, my favorite, ‘desperate,'” she wrote in the caption. “Let me tell you something that might surprise you. I can actually wear and do literally whatever I want. On that note, here is me in a bikini squatting on a coffee table.”
One fan didn’t seem to have an issue with it, though, writing that “if I looked that good I’d be posting pictures in a bikini every day!”
D’Errico was married once, to Mötley Crüe guitarist Nikki Sixx, from 1996-2007. Since then, she has focused on her career after the original Baywatch, the syndicated hit that ran until 1998. Most recently, she had a role in the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine and the Bruce Willis action thriller film Survive the Game.
