Sal Valentinetti is an old soul. He lives for his family, has a big heart and sings with a style that’ll make you reminisce about the Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra days.
And that’s why the crowd, and one judge in particular, fell in love with him during his audition for “America’s Got Talent.”
Valentinetti, 20, sang “My Way” by Frank Sinatra. Before his performance, he told judges that his grandmother is the reason he is drawn to this era of music.
“She ended up passing away, and the music was all I had to remember her by. Italian families — our matriarchs are what’s most important,” he said.
His astounding performance ended with kisses, hugs and a Golden Buzzer from judge Heidi Klum.
