Honoring those who wear the blue uniform to protect us this police week

National Police Week was established in 1962 to honor police men and women who put their lives on the line to protect Americans at home.

Last year, 123 law enforcement officers were killed in the line of duty.

So far in 2016, 35 have died.

Thank you for your service.
