The Aquaman actor collided with the motorcycle as they drove in opposite directions on Old Topanga Canyon Road on Sunday, TMZ reports.

The biker, whose name is Vitaliy Avagimyan, crossed over double yellow lines into the eastbound lanes. That resulted in the biker riding into the path of Momoa’s car, according to CNN.

Avagimyan smacked into Momoa’s windshield, cleared the hood of the actor’s vehicle and landed on his feet, according to TMZ.

“Mr. Avagimyan and his motorcycle collided with the left front of Mr. Momoa’s vehicle. As a result of this collision, Mr. Avagimyan was ejected from his motorcycle,” CNN said, quoting a California Highway Patrol spokesperson. “After the collision, Mr. Momoa exited his vehicle to assisted Mr. Avagimyan and was able to flag down passing motorist to call 9-1-1.”

Fortunately, the incident between Momoa’s car and the motorcycle did not result in any serious injuries, per TMZ’s report.

Paramedics reportedly treated the biker following the crash and brought him to a hospital. The biker only bruised his leg and injured his thumb, per the report.

TMZ further said a camera attached to a person’s bicycle caught the crash on tape.

Jason Momoa did not publish any posts about the incident on Twitter or Instagram. It appears he stopped using his account in early February.

Jason Momoa’s Eventful 2022

The actor will appear in just one movie this year: a fantasy comedy-adventure called Slumberland. Nevertheless, he is still making headlines.

Two months ago, Jason Momoa recently caused a stir when he had photos taken in front of a Michelangelo painting in the Vatican. He apologized for his Sistine Chapel faux pas.

He posted both the photos and the apology on Instagram. Momoa posted two photos from a location that explicitly requests that no photos be taken. You can see them here and here. One of the photos is followed by a series of videos showing the inside of the Sistine Chapel.

Instagram users flooded his account, @prideofgypsies, with angry comments. As a result, Momoa just posted a heartfelt apology video.
