“We absolutely felt like we were the victim of a lynch mob led by the media,” Ramsey says in the preview clip for A&E’s documentary, “The Killing of JonBenét: The Truth Uncovered.”

“There’s no question that the Boulder Police Department believed we were the killers,” he says. Ramsey, his now-deceased wife Patsy and their then-9 year old son, Burke were all persons of interest in the case.

The new documentary promises to reveal new details surrounding JonBenét’s murder in December 1996. It will also dive into new theories in the case and provide evidence as it tries to prove someone broke into the family’s Boulder, Colo., home.

The family was cleared of any involvement in 2008, two years after Patsy Ramsey died of ovarian cancer.

Three other documentaries about the case will come out this year. Investigation Discovery will air “JonBenét: An American Murder Mystery,” and CBS will premiere a three-part docu-series, “The Case Of: JonBenét Ramsey.”

Burke Ramsey will also have his first interview with Dr. Phil in a three-part special airing September 12.

“The Killing of JonBenét: The Truth Uncovered” airs Monday, September 5 on A&E.
