Rapper Kanye West joined Ellen Degeneres on Tuesday to debut the music video for his new song “One One.”
The track, which features Paul McCartney on keyboard, is a stark departure from most of Kanye’s catalog. It’s sung from the perspective of Kanye’s late mother, and is an an ode to his little girl, two-year-old North “Nori” West.
In the Spike Jonze-directed video, Kanye and his daughter are seen walking in a field on a rainy day. Despite his brash public persona, Kanye’s love for his daughter shines through in both the song and video, making it an instant classic.
