Last Known Person To See Anne Heche Prior To Accident Describes Final Interaction

A hair design salon owner said the actress randomly bought a red wig in his shop shortly before she died.

The last known person to see Anne Heche before she died in a car crash recently discussed their last interaction.

Hair design salon owner Richard Glass said Heche randomly bought a red wig in his shop shortly before she died. The transaction took place on August 5 at Glass Hair Design in Venice Beach, California, according to Entertainment Weekly.

Richard Glass disclosed that the actress bought the wig the day she fatally crashed her car into a Los Angeles home.

“She wasn’t speaking in cursive, I say that when people are impaired,” he reportedly told EW.

“They speak in cursive like slurring your words,” Glass continued. “But she wasn’t, she was very, very cordial. Very personable and very polite. The whole encounter was maybe 10 minutes, it wasn’t huge, but it was strange all the same and random.” 

The Tragic Death Of Anne Heche

The actress, 53, crashed her Mini Cooper into a Los Angeles home where both caught on fire. After being taken to the hospital, she remained in a coma for nearly a week before medical experts revealed on Aug. 12 that she was not “expected to survive.” 

The actress was declared legally dead by doctors two days before her family decided to remove her from life support. Los Angeles police were initially investigating the crash as a felony DUI Collision. After she was declared brain dead police stated there would be no more investigative efforts. The information and the records that were previously requested would still be collected. 

Late last week, the Los Angeles County Coroner officially ruled that Anne Heche‘s death was an accident. Stating she perished due to thermal injuries and inhalation.

Anne Heche is known for several films including Donnie BrascoSix DaysVolcano, and Seven Nights to name a few.  She later went on to star on TV, appearing on shows such as Nip/Tuck, Everwood, and ABC’s Men in Trees
