As Mardi Gras celebrations came to an end this week, many Americans attended Ash Wednesday services to celebrate the beginning of the Lenten season.

One of those Americans was actor Mark Wahlberg.

He shared a photo on Instagram this week with his wife, both showing the ashes on their forehead.

“Wishing all who celebrate a blessed #AshWednesday,” he wrote.


We’re still not sure if they gave up any thing for Lent.
