Megyn Kelly Insults Meghan Markle Once More: ‘We Get It. You Bagged The Gorilla’

What is it with Megyn Kelly and Meghan Markle? Kelly is once again insulting Markle, this time because she referred to Prince Harry as “my husband.” She was speaking with Christopher Anderson, author of The King: The Life of Charles III (Harry’s father), during her SiriusXM podcast.

Megyn Kelly Is Really Annoyed That Meghan Markle Calls Prince Harry “My Husband”

Talking about Markle’s recent Archetypes podcast episode, Megyn Kelly brought up her producer (first name is Kelly). Producer Kelly asked Megyn Kelly if it’s just her or if others think it’s “annoying” how Markle says, “my husband.”

“It’s not just you, Kelly,” she said. “It is all of us. ‘My husband, my—.’ We get it. You bagged the gorilla. Congratulations. You got the big bear. You want us to know. We know.”

The recent “my husband” comment came from Markle while she was chatting with Pamela Adlon on Archetypes. “Oh, my husband? Oh, he’s great!” she said, before describing how Harry helps her with parenting.

Ironically, Kelly also mentioned that “there seems to be no limit to [Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s] appetite for ripping on the Royals, to whom they owe literally all of their fame and most of their fortune.”

I say ironic, because there seems to be no limit or end to Megyn Kelly ripping on Meghan Markle, to whom Kelly at this point probably owes her fame. It must be getting her good ratings, because she keeps doing it, which is keeping her relevant—regardless of she’s right or wrong.

Kelly then asked Anderson what he thought was going to happen with Meghan and Harry.

Did Harry Become Less Popular After Marrying Meghan?

They segued into how “immensely unpopular” the Sussex Royals are, with Meghan Markle having “less than a 22% approval rating” in the UK. This contrasts to Harry’s popularity in his younger days, when he was considered an “eligible bachelor” by much of the world.

The implication is, of course, that Harry’s previous popularity when he was younger would have made it virtually impossible for Markle to not have done any research on him.

“From the get-go, Meghan Markle said that she knew nothing about Harry being a prince,” said Anderson. “You know, like every other young woman that age, they were all in love with [him]…. There were pictures of her at the gates of Buckingham Palace when she was a teenager.”

“From my age, it was JFK, Jr.,” said Kelly. “From her age, it was Prince Harry. Let’s get real. There’s always that eligible bachelor. And the Kennedys, back when I was growing up are the closest thing we had to American royalty… And so, she was a liar, I mean that’s really what we’re both saying. She lied about it. She lied.”

Kelly, Anderson Seem to Imply That Markle Lied About Racism in the Royal Family

The accusations didn’t stop there, though. Next, they brought up a clip of Markle talking with Oprah about racism in the Royal family.

“In those months when I was pregnant, all around this same time,” Markle told Oprah in the clip. “So, we have in tandem the conversation of, he won’t be given security. He’s not going to be given a title. And also, concerns and conversations about how dark his skin might be when he’s born.”

When Oprah pressed Markle to tell her who it was who expressed concern over baby Archie’s skin color — because it came across as racist — Markle refused. “I think that would be very damaging to them,” she explained.

“That conversation I’m never going to share, um, but at the time… I was a bit shocked,” Harry told Oprah. He added that he will never share details of the conversation that occurred surrounding the color of Archie’s skin color.

The two bounce ideas back and forth about what the secret conversation was about. They agree that many parents and family members are often curious about baby eye colors and skin colors, and that purely wondering isn’t a racist thing to do.

“It’s fun to speculate on things like that and it doesn’t show any disrespect or any hints of racism or anything of the sort,” Anderson added. “And to jump to that conclusion based on that, I would find, uh, to be, in my view, pretty irresponsible.”

Kelly’s Bashed on Markle Three Times in Three Weeks

This is at least the third time in the past few weeks that Megyn Kelly has openly expressed disdain for Meghan Markle. Three weeks ago, she called Markle a “B-list actress,” a “social-climber,” “thin-skinned,” and overly controlling of her public image. She also called Harry “hypersensitive,” contradictory, and hypocritical.

About a week and a half ago, Kelly accused Markle of “obsessive image crafting” because of her discussion about stereotypes on her Archetypes podcast. Markle had mentioned that she was treated like a “bimbo” on the game show Deal or No Deal.

“This woman is a fraud, and people get it,” Kelly said. “It’s not something a new publicity team can solve. Nor any ‘fact-checker’,” Kelly said. “It’s not something a new publicity team can solve. Nor any ‘fact-checker.’”

“We don’t feel sorry for you,” she added. “Be quiet for a while and do something meaningful that is not about you. Then maybe we’ll feel inspired to do something other than mock you.”

  1. “Be quiet for a while and do something meaningful that is not about you.“ That’s rich! -when Megyn Kelly herself harps on against another woman because Megyn and pals didn’t get to “bagged the gorilla.”

Girls can focus on things in life other than some famous eligible bachelor. Meghan had no inclination toward princes of another country before meeting Harry.

We don’t feel sorry for Megyn Kelly, either. Not any more.
