Of course, there’s been a lot talk from celebrities and key players about the outcome of the 2016 presidential election.

One of Hillary Clinton’s central supporters and world renowned television personality, Oprah Winfrey, is also speaking out. Her statement, however, comes as a surprise to many who supported the democratic presidential nominee.

“I could sense, maybe I’m wrong, but I could sense from Donald Trump’s body language even when he came out for the acceptance speech, that brotha has been humbled by this whole thing,” she told the Associated Press. “I think it’s a humbling process that now you literally have the weight of the world on your shoulders.”

Following the election result, Winfrey tweeted a screenshot of the historic event with the caption, “Everybody take a deep breath! #HopeLives!”

Oprah was far from keeping her political leanings a secret, especially leading up to this presidential election. “There really is no choice, people,” she once said about the presidential nominees on an episode of T.D. Jakes’ self-titled talk show. “All the people sitting around, talking about [how] they can’t decide, here’s what I want to say.”

“You don’t have to like her,” she continued. “You don’t have to like her. Do you like this country? Do you like this country? You better get out there and vote.”

Do you think her recent comments seem optimistic about a Trump presidency?
