Ryan Reynolds can’t seem to get enough of his own humor. It’s now practically impossible to distinguish the actor from the wisecracking superhero Deadpool that he plays onscreen.

In honor of Lively turning 35 last week, Ryan Reynolds used Instagram to share nine photos of his wife. But while most of the selfies are sincere, Reynolds couldn’t resist teasing his wife with one of them. In it, a piece of kale covers most of her face while she’s asleep.
Along with the photo gallery, Reynolds wrote: “Happy Birthday, @blakelively. You’re spectacular. I’m not sure if you were born or invented. Also, thank you for urging me to leave the house every now and again. ❤️” The post, published only four days ago, already boasts 6.8 million likes and almost 22,000 comments.

Reynolds’ tease continued a tradition in which he and Lively prank each other on their birthdays.
The Instagram pics appeared shortly after the couple celebrated 10 years of marriage. Like he did on Lively’s birthday, Reynolds proved himself to be a romantic when discussing their wedding anniversary.
“I’m paired up with my best friend,” he told reporters. “When that happens, you recognize how unbelievably lucky you are.”
Reynolds, 45, and Lively, 34, were married on Sept. 9, 2012. They first started dating about a year before that. The couple has three daughters.
About five years ago, Lively revealed the secret to her and Reynolds’ successful marriage on Good Morning America. As actors, they both understand that they occasionally have to get frisky with other people in front of a camera, she said.
