That had to hurt!

Maksim Chmerkovskiy had to bow out of this week’s episode of “Dancing with the Stars” after suffering a calf injury during rehearsals.

In this dramatic behind-the-scenes look at the show, fans got a peek of what Chmerkovskiy did to his leg that left him benched for the week.

“I think something went down,” he said while favoring one of his legs. “It’s my calf muscle. Fuck. It just felt like something hit it […] I can’t stand on it. This is not good.”

Chmerkovskiy’s partner, “Glee” alum Heather Morris, will be dancing this week with pro Alan Bersten.
