Officially? No. No one will admit to that. The Oscars — nor the folks involved — could admit to it, obviously, but it is fake.
A wild claim, yes… but this slow-mo video pretty well shows that Rock was ready for this entire thing.

In a vacuum maybe we believe that.
But defending his wife against a longtime friend? Nah. These guys are boys.
