Daniel Radcliffe is going to be a papa! A representative for the star confirmed he and his girlfriend Erin Darke are officially expecting their first child. The news comes after 10 years of dating since they met back in 2013 on the set of Kill Your Darlings.

Radcliffe had previously opened up about he and the 38-year-old saying they were “really happy” together, saying in March, “I’ve got a really nice life. I’ve been with my girlfriend for a decade, pretty much.”
After working together on his TBS Series Miracle Worker, the Harry Potter star stated the experience “was incredibly special and felt lovely.” “We definitely like [working together], but it’s not something we want to do all the time,” he stated.
Kill Your Darlings
“Hopefully we’ll get to do more in the future, but we also both write,” Radcliffe added. “So maybe we’d write something together at some point, and that would be cool.”
One day before the announcement, Darke and Radcliffe, 33, were seen in New York City as Darke showed off her baby bump. She wore a black zip-up hoodie and matching leggings, both of which hugged her belly, paired with a black and white checked peacoat. Radcliffe, on the other hand, wore a navy puffer jacket along with a bright blue and yellow winter hat.
Like Radcliffe, Darke is an actress and has gained recognition for her portrayal of Cindy in the television series Good Girls Revolt. Additionally, she has appeared in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel as Mary and Dietland as Leeta. Darke has also appeared in several films, including Love & Mercy (2014), Beside Still Waters (2014), Still Alice (2014), and Don’t Think Twice (2016).
Who is Erin Darke?
The two actors met while working on the 2013 indie movie Kill Your Darlings. In the film, Darke’s character engages in a short-lived flirtation with Radcliffe’s character, which eventually leads to an intimate romance. They were first seen together at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, where they were promoting the movie.
For Radcliffe, the movie is a reminder of how they started their romance. “That’s a wonderful record of us flirting for the first time,” he told Playboy in October 2015. “There’s no acting going on — not from my end, anyway. There’s a moment when she makes me laugh, and I’m laughing as me and not as my character. She was incredibly funny and smart. I knew I was in trouble.”
