A man stepped outside and found a deer all by himself — the next thing he knew, the whole herd was at his doorstep

Once upon a time, a deer strayed far from his herd and approached a house.

The owner stepped outside and gave him a friendly greeting. The owner then whistled and asked “Who’s hungry?”

The herd ran right up to his doorstep.

“Good morning,” the man said to the herd. “Who’s all ready to eat?”

And a hearty meal was had by all.
