A National Geographic explorer stumbled upon two giant tortoises mating during his visit to the Seychelles and the male tortoise’s response was priceless.
Paul Rose said that he followed a strange noise and discovered the source, only to be “chased” away by the unhappy tortoise.
Rose could have said “Get a room,” but that wouldn’t have worked. Tortoises don’t speak English, they don’t have rooms and, even if they did have rooms, it would have taken them forever to get there anyway.
None of these considerations were on the tortoise’s radar; he just wanted to get rid of a peeping tom.
And, after a while, it worked.
