You know those little toys where you are supposed to get the little ball to roll through the maze? Now imagine instead of using gravity to get the ball to roll in the right direction, you had puppies using their tongues to do it for you. That is pretty much what is happening here.
Watching these two walk around their maze/food dishes, wagging their tails, intently working for every single bite out makes us think this is how all dogs should be fed.
