In America, we don’t really have to deal with many strange types of wild animals. If you live in Florida, you might encounter a few alligators and a handful of escaped pythons, but there isn’t anywhere in the country where we have to deal with colorful birds flocking to our balconies.

The neighbors who live in front of my mother’s apartment in Caracas are accustomed to feed every afternoon the Macaws that fly from Avila Mountain to different parts of the city. One afternoon from my balcony I was surprised to see the cheer amount with friendly attitude eating on the balcony of my neighbor.
