Alexa Pham, or Allie, runs Chai Lai Orchid, an eco-friendly resort in Thailand aimed at proving that sustainable tourism is doable and providing an escape for at-risk woman. While Pham is using her resort primarily for human efforts, one of her projects includes proving to the elephant camp across the river that there is a better way to treat the elephants and their trainers. Among the elephants she is hoping to help is this little (relatively speaking) elephant who decided to snuggle into her lap.
She wont be able to do that much longer, but we are glad someone caught the moment on camera before the baby elephant gets too much bigger.
