Watch this drone plummet after a preying wedge-tailed eagle said “get outta my sky” YouTube/Screenshot

If you’re flying a drone in a bird of prey’s airspace, you’re going to have a bad time.

Awesome drone footage was uploaded by Melbourne Aerial Video recently after a wedge-tailed eagle was caught on camera attacking it out of the sky.

The drone was hovering over a wooded area in Australia and the bird took care of the rest.

The uploader left the following bit of advice under the video:

This is the last thing a small bird sees when a Wedge-Tailed Eagle decides that you are dinner…

Do not fly drones near birds of prey, they clearly attack seeing you as a threat or the right sized dinner. This will cost you money and potentially harm to the bird. This one was fine.. the drone needed some attention before it could fly again.

If you see a bird of prey while flying. Land. I have added this to my operating procedure.
