But sometimes, these four are at their most powerful when they simply let the music do the talking.

In a brand-new collaboration released Feb. 23, the coaches got together to do a breathtaking, acoustic version of the TLC hit “Waterfalls.” And in the span of less than three minutes, listeners are reminded not only about how talented these artists are, but also what beautiful music can come when they join their voices together.

There is no doubt that the four seem quite comfortable with one another both musically and professionally, and even personally. Blake recently opened up to People Magazine about his true friendship with Adam in particular.

“He’s one of the most loving people I’ve ever known,” says Blake. “We drive each other nuts, but outside of this world, he’s one of my best friends and it’s because of his heart. He needs his face slapped around, but he has a huge, huge heart.”

“I remember when I saw him at the meeting at NBC, I was instantly very taken by him cause he was definitely not your typical country artist,” added Adam. “He was not a cookie-cutter guy, and the second we met, we were friends. All of the bullshit that we do comes from a place of love.”
