Brad Paisley and Jimmy Fallon combine voices to turn this serious event into a hilarious song YouTube/Jimmy Fallon

The 2010 BP Gulf oil spill is recognized as the worst oil spill in U.S. history. To quickly refresh your memory, an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico exploded and sank. By the time the well was capped 87 days later, an estimated 3.19 million barrels of oil had leaked into the Gulf.

Three years after the spill, tar balls were still washing up on the Gulf Coast.

While all of that is truly horrible, Jimmy Fallon’s job is to make light of things in the news and some tough situations, and that’s one thing “The Tonight Show” host is VERY good at.

As Jimmy explains in the video, he wrote a comical protest song about the effects of the tar balls washing up on the shore. Brad Paisley is always up for a good joke, so when Jimmy says he’s retiring the song, Brad is happy to pick up the torch.

While the entire song is hysterical (and catchy), there’s nothing quite like watching Jimmy and Quest Love really take things over at the 2:55 mark.
