We’ve all been there before. We’ve all told ourselves that we’d start our diet and exercise routine tomorrow. And when tomorrow rolled around, we all made up some excuse as to why we were too busy to actually do it.
For country superstar Carrie Underwood, she doesn’t have that kind of luxury.
She can’t afford to skip a workout, because God knows those killer legs don’t come easy. And, while the vegan star actually does enjoy pumping iron in her tour bus gym, she admits to having those sluggish days every once in awhile.
“We have late nights,” Carrie tells E Talk regarding her workouts, “Sometimes I just have to make myself get out of bed and do it.”
The “Church Bells” singer who recently graced the cover of US Weekly’s “Best Bodies” issue, proved that she worked super hard to get the results that she wanted. And, working hard meant getting out of her comfort zone.
“For the first fifteen minutes, it’s not fun,” she admits, “but by the end of it, I’m like ‘I’m really glad I did that.”
This year, Carrie will be back at it again serving as co-host at the 2016 CMA Awards aside fellow country star Brad Paisley. So, not only will she need to fit into her gowns, but she will also need the energy to make quick wardrobe changes.
And, when it comes to trimming down for that big event Carrie says, “I feel like I probably reached my max, because there’s only so much you can do before it becomes absolutely ridiculous.”
