Country music legend Willie Nelson talks about his new business venture in this behind the scenes video

In a behind the scenes look at the recording of “It’s All Going To Pot,” Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard joke about songwriter Jamey Johnson and just what she he had to be smoking to come up with some of the song’s most interesting lyrics.

“They are holding out on us,” Nelson laughs of the song, which will be featured on Nelson and Haggard’s upcoming album “Django And Jimmie.

One thing is for sure, Nelson is no longer holding out on anyone. The American music legend recently announced plans to release his very own brand of cannabis, and it looks like his business venture is now fully underway. Being referred to as a “connoisseur brand” committed to the “regulated, natural, and high quality strains of marijuana in U.S. legal markets,” Willie’s Reserve will be sold by local businesses in the states of Colorado and Washington, for now.

“I am looking forward to working with the best growers in Colorado and Washington to make sure our product is the best on the market,” explained Nelson in a recent press release.

The release goes on to say that Nelson and his company will “work with businesses that are making smart and sustainable choices for the environment, have demonstrated leadership in their markets, and are committed to encouraging safe, legal use.”
